Kennedy Shaw is a musician whose energetic personality comes fourth through her music and groovy basslines. Kennedy has touched bass in genres including, jazz, folk, psychedelic rock, neosoul and reggae. She plays bass in various bands including, “Abby and the Band” as well as “SolarFeel”. She also has a solo career where she experiments with her musicianship having a hand in all instrumentals. Kennedy is inspired heavily by the mindset and teaching techniques of the great Victor Wooten. After reading his book “The Music Lesson” she was inspired to take her playing to the next level. A place where her music, mind and physicality all are as one. This has heavily reflected in her music creating a “pocket” like no other. As of right now Kennedy is working on her next solo EP with continuation of her tranquil and harmonious message. Her message for now, “funky creative things are just around the corner.”
