About me

Kennedy Shaw is a young bassist, private music teacher and solo artist who’s groovy basslines have a handle in all genres. Kennedy brings her creative basslines to the band's "SOLARFEEL" and "Abby and the Band" When not with her bandmates Kennedy is hard at work exploring her own solo career. Kennedy grew up in small town Grimsby, Ontario, surrounded by folk, jazz and funk music which inspires her approach to her art through easy listening, her airy rhythm section can be described as “floating over the time”. Kennedy’s upcoming music is a continuation of her easy listening vibrations bringing groovy basslines to her listeners.

Kennedy and drummer Emmitt work together in all of Kennedy's music. The two of them share a special connection through their music being able to talk to each other and communicate through their instruments allowing for them to create a balanced and synced rhythm section. Emmitt and Kennedy are one tight rhythm duo.
